The Billiken Club to Host Day-Party at SXSW!

Call us biased if you want, but our favorite St. Louis darlings The Billiken Club are makin’ their way down to Austin for this year’s SXSW Festival. Co-sponsoring the event are St. Louis’ own community-run radio station, KDHX, and Twangfest. The showcase will include local acts So Many Dynamos and Gentleman Auction House.  Also included on the bill are Billiken Club veterans “This Is American Music” featuring The Glossary, Two Cow Garage, Grand Champeen, and The Drams.  You may remember them from last semester’s lineup!  Playing the party as well will be Pattern Is Movement and Deertick.

Other Billiken Club news! Tomorrow, there will be a show featuring Catfish Haven, Headlights, and Evangelicals. It is also the Headlights CD release show. It’s going to be ultra exciting and fun! The show starts at 9 PM, all ages, open to the public and FREE! So if you are into good ole’ indie music, I expect to see you there.
